Captain Eric Goodrich
Born and raised in Upstate New York, Captain Eric's love of fishing started early. He began his charter fishing career as a mate on Lake Ontario charter boats, learning the ropes from experienced captains.
Eric holds a four-year degree in Fisheries and Wildlife Management and worked for the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service. His deep understanding of fish behavior and aquatic ecosystems sets him apart from other charter captains.
After moving to Maryland, Captain Eric ran his own environmental restoration company for over 30 years, specializing in stream restoration, wetland construction, and shoreline stabilization. This work gave him an intimate knowledge of the Chesapeake Bay and its waterways.
In January 2023, Eric launched Stella Charters to share his passion for fishing with others. Whether you're a seasoned angler or a first-timer, Captain Eric will work hard to put you on the fish and ensure you have an unforgettable day on the water.
